On Tuesday, August 8th, AYLUS volunteers taught a K-pop dance class at Athena Dance Academy, in preparation to perform at the 2024 Lunar New Year Gala.
The volunteers began by leading a 10 minute stretch and warm-up. After briefly reviewing what the students had learned from the previous class, the teachers began teaching the students more choreography to the song Likey. The students ended up finishing the dance.
At the end of the class, the parents were invited to watch their child’s finished performance. The students were proud of their hard work.
