AYLUS Dix Hills worked with the Alzheimers and Dementia Center to support patients. Volunteers helped patients clean up their lunch, guide them to the entertainment room, dance with the patients, hand out snacks and drinks, and listen to life stories. By engaging Alzheimers patients, we hope to make them feel more included and supported in the community.
AYLUS Dix Hills works to provide an inclusive and supportive environment in our community and will continue this initiative in future events.
