On Wednesday, July 19, AYLUS volunteers coached tennis as part of their continued summer
tennis lessons for fundraising.
After a brief warmup, the students were divided into beginner and intermediate groups. Gavin,
Derek, and Zide taught beginners while William and Caroline led intermediates. Most of the
lesson was strengthening forehand and backhand technique, yet students also practiced
approaches and volleys.
To end the lesson, the students had fun playing King of the Court and did some light stretches.
