On June 23, 2023, San Diego Branch Participated Loolin Family Kitchen Event at Jewish Family Services.

Founded in 1918, today JFS is considered one of San Diego’s most impactful nonprofit human services agencies, providing compassionate care and supportive services to more than 70,000 people every year. The Loonin Family Kitchen of Jewish Family Service prepares nutritious Kosher-style meals for delivery to clients enrolled in the Senior Nutrition Program. Food Prep Volunteers assist with afternoon preparation for the following day’s meals including, preparing and packaging entrée sides, cutting and packaging fresh fruit, and assembling side packages for delivery.

On June 23, 2023, the following members offered 2 hours of services and made 342 meals. Their hard work was well recognized by JFS.
