On May 27th, Emma Zhang volunteered with her local natural science museum to demo the wonders of liquid nitrogen. They created exploding clouds of nitrogen and explained some of the element’s properties, including why it’s able to “glide” across the floor. She also helped visitors navigate the exhibits (specifically the Eurypterus, New York’s state fossil) and the observatory.
