San Diego Branch Hosted the Solution for Hope Online Tutoring Class on April 16, 2023

Coop with Foodbank, the AYLUS San Diego Committee kicked off the 2022-2023 Solution for Hope on-line classes for raising fund to underprivileges families. The Tutoring Class Activity was kicked off on April 16, 2023.

 

Through this activity, AYLUS volunteers were able to teach 6 ESL students a wide array of topics and led them through many different discussions, each one tailored to suit the student’s individual needs. Each class is a one-on-one private lesson, with volunteers specifically matched with students.

Andrew Chen taught 1 on 1 Math (John Zou) for 1.5 hrs on Sunday, April 16, 2023.

Colin Xie taught 1 on 1 Math (Jenna Taeb) for 1.5 hrs on Sunday, April 16, 2023.

Luke Qiao  taught 1 on 1 Java Coding (Junpeng) for 1.5 hrs on Saturday, April 16, 2023.

Meijia He  taught 1 on 1 Python Coding (Max Zhang) for 1.5 hrs on Saturday, April 16, 2023.

Kyle Huo  taught 1 on 1 History (Xinyuan) for 1.5 hrs on Sunday, April 16, 2023.

Eric Li (FP) taught 1 on 1 Science (Jessica Jiang) for 1 hr on Saturday, April 15, 2023.
