Pearland Volunteers Improved Face Painting Skills on March 13, 2023

AYLUS Pearland volunteers practiced painting faces on Monday, March 13, 2023, from 10:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at the Pearland West Library to prepare for several big events in April.

Volunteers arrived on time and helped with set up. They first selected facepainting themes that suitable for Spring events. Then they searched and selected video on YouTube and tried on each other with the assistance of an instructor. They also practiced on kids in the library to get their feedbacks.

The purpose of the class was to prepare for the Old Pearland Farmers Market on March 18, the community egg hunt on April 9, and the Ed White Family Event and Health Fair on April 15, where the organizers of both events invited AYLUS Pearland to set up a face-painting booth. Afterwards, the volunteers cleaned their area together.
