The Long Island Chinese School and the AYLUS Dix Hills Branch collaborate to give kids the best possible education. As teacher assistants, the AYLUS Dix Hills volunteers assisted students who were having difficulty understanding the lesson, ensured that everyone was on task, watched over the students during recess, distributed assignments, made copies of the students’ work, and graded their work.
Later in the evening, volunteers helped the Japanese classes.
