On February 5th, AYLUS volunteers worked a bookmark workshop and made various handmade crafts for monthly donations to the local school students and UNC hospital as cancer care kits. There were, of course, bookmarks, but also cards as well which were Valentine’s-themed to match the upcoming holiday. The event lasted from 2 PM until 4 PM, totaling 2 hours. We hope the kits are able to rejuvenate patients and let them know that countless people are supporting them every step of the way on their journey.
