On February 3 and 10, 2023, three members of the Frisco and Plano branch gathered at CCCFC church to spread information about the Libraries with Love project, as well as collect used books to donate towards the project. Members worked together to promote the Libraries with Love project and answer questions about the project and the AYLUS organization. In total, they collected around 50 books on both days combined.

The mission of Libraries with Love is to raise awareness of the necessity of quality education and help children in economically disadvantaged areas who may not have access to such resources.

The goal of Frisco & Plano Branch in 2023 is help build 3-5 libraries for children in Africa as many regions of Africa do not have books or other educational resources to support children living there. By the end of 2023, the Frisco and Plano AYLUS branch hopes to accomplish this project, spreading awareness about the importance of books in education. To learn more, you can visit https://librarieswithlove.org, and if you have unwanted books you’d like to donate to our cause, email aylusfriscoplano@gmail.com.

Great work to the members that helped promote the project!
