San Diego Branch Hosted the Solution for Hope Tutoring Class on August 28, 2022

Coop with Foodbank, the AYLUS San Diego Committee kicked off the 2022-2023 Solution for Hope on-line classes for raising fund to underprivileges families. The Tutoring Class Activity was kicked off on August 28, 2022.

 

Through this activity, AYLUS volunteers were able to teach 2 ESL students a wide array of topics and led them through many different discussions, each one tailored to suit the student’s individual needs. Each class is a one-on-one private lesson, with volunteers specifically matched with students.

Selina Pan taught 1 on 1 English (Jessica Jiang) for 1.5 hrs on Monday, August 29, 2022.

Serena Liu taught 1 on 1 math (Kate Liang) for 1.5 hrs on Sunday, August 28, 2022.

Kyle Huo taught 1 on 1 math (Barry Zou) for 1.5 hrs on Sunday, August 28, 2022

Andrew Chen taught 1 on 1 math (John Zou) for 1.5 hrs on Sunday, August 28, 2022

Colin Xie taught 1 on 1 math (Nelson Qin) for 1.5 hrs on Sunday, August 28, 2022
