On June 16, 2022, AYLUS Pearland worked with Pearland Parks and Recreation to help organize the annual July 4th celebration of freedom event. At the request of the Pearland Parks department, Aylus members attended a presentation explaining how the new website for volunteers worked, as well as the details for the event itself. Since Celebration of Freedom is a large, three-part volunteering project with major changes this year, Pearland Parks and Aylus members discussed the plans for the upcoming event.
