On September 18, the Sugar Land Branch continued its butterfly garden maintenance project at the Memorial Park Butterfly Garden. Members focused on weed pulling and plant watering, giving the plants room to grow and allowing them to stay hydrated in the hot Texas climate. After pulling weeds, members put them in a large pile and disposed of them accordingly in a location where they can decompose properly.
The participating members were Runyan Zhou, Jason Yen, Serena Li, Amy Liu, Aidan Pulmano, Emma Jiang, and Albon Wu.
