The first of what may become a series of Meet the Police events was conducted on June 24. Officer Scott Nichelson of the Dublin Police Department was invited to present to members of Aylus and the community about the Neighborhood Watch and other means to be an active participant in your locality. An extended Q&A session was also held in which Officer Nichelson elaborated on personal safety and ways to handle both emergency and non-emergency situations. AYLUS members who attended the meeting were Brian Xia, Angelika-Lili Susanto, Andrew Xia, Kerrie Cheng, Jeffrey Xie, Gavin Ni, Kevin Wang, Joseph Lin, Nicole Lin, Patrick Wang, Max Wang, Erica Shen, and Rachel Zhu.
