On April 4, the Sugar Land Branch continued its project to provide landscaping for a City of Sugar Land Parks and Recreation project. Members met with the city’s parks director and transferred the previously sprouted plants to the road connecting the Memorial and Brazos River Parks. First, members dug shallow holes spread two feet apart, after which they moved the plants from growing containers into the holes. Finally, members used water from the nearby lake to water the mealy blue sage sprouts.
The participating members were Daniel Trinh, Justin Chang, Nicole Wu, Isabella Wu, Angela Wang, Tong Wang, Serena Li, Emma Jiang, and Albon Wu.
