Williamsville AYLUS Held a Candlelight Vigil for the Victims of the Atlanta Shooting Incident on March 20th, 2021

On March 20th, 2021, members of the Williamsville branch of AYLUS held a candlelight vigil from 8 to 9 PM for the victims of the Atlanta, Georgia shooting incident on March 16th, 2021. People of all faiths, backgrounds, and ages in the Buffalo community were invited to gather together at the University of Buffalo to take a stand against violence directed toward Asian Americans. More than 100 people came to the candlelight vigil to show their support. Members of Williamsville AYLUS donated many electric candlelights to participants. The candlelight vigil helped spread the message that the Asian community is strong and will choose to remain hopeful and fearless. Together we stand stronger!
