On October 13, 2020, volunteers from the Irvine branch of AYLUS hosted its eighth introductory history class for the fall session. We held the lesson on Zoom, and students, consisting of elementary and middle schoolers, had a great time participating.
Today, we talked about American imperialism. It went over the notable territorial expansions and events for the US. Although we ran short on time, many students were able to participate and contribute interactive, helpful details for the discussion. Nonetheless, it was a great learning experience for students.
