Phoenix Branch Donates 1,000 face masks and 100 thank you cards to TGen Research Center on May 27, 2020

On May 27, 2020 from 10 am to noon, the Phoenix branch donated 1,000 face masks and 100 thank you cards to TGen Research Center. TGen, the Translational Genomics Research Institute, is an affiliate of City of Hope.  It is an Arizona-based, nonprofit medical research institute dedicated to conducting groundbreaking research with life-changing results. They work to unravel the genetic components of common and complex diseases, including cancer, neurological disorders, infectious disease, and rare childhood disorders. By identifying treatment options in this manner, TGen believes medicine becomes more rational, more precise, and, well, more personal. TGen has been conducting COVID-19 research recently.

The members that participated in this 2-hour event were Katherine Wei, Ethan Wei, Audrey Zhang, Michael Chen, and Kerry Zhuo. Sheya Sree made 25 thank you cards for TGen.
