On April 28, 2020, volunteers from the Phoenix branch made 1,000 thank you cards filled with little cartoons, drawings, illustrations, quotes, puns, and general thank yous to appreciate the medical heroes sacrificing their lives on the front line to save others. Volunteers poured hours upon hours into this event and we are very glad to make an impact and help out especially on Nurse Appreciation Week which is coming up in the next few weeks.
The volunteers that participated in this event, either making cards or delivering them, were Katherine Wei, Ethan Wei, Marina Hu, Michelle Yu, Kerry Zhuo, Charles Zhang, Audrey Zhang, Michael Chen, Carol Chen, Grace Zhang, Marie Chen, Andrew Yang, Amy Xie, and Kevin Chen.
