San Diego Branch organized 28th English for the Elderly activity on November 17th, 2019

On November 17th, 2019, San Diego students of AYLUS organized the 28th English for the Elderly activity. The goal of this activity is to help elderly men and women from China learn the basics of English so that they’re able to use them in their daily lives.

Through this activity, AYLUS volunteers were able to teach 10 elderly men and women common English phrases and sentences. Not only were the “students” able to improve their understanding of and ability to speak the English language, but the volunteers also improved their patience and confidence through this event.

The following students participated in the 28th English for the Elderly activity: Yufei Zhang, Jonathan Edward Backues, RuiqiDing, NingXin Sun, Luke Qiao, Haobin Cao, Hausen Wu, Michael Wang, Kyne xie, and Gary Wu
