San Diego Branch organized 15th English for the Elderly activity on August 19th, 2019

On August 19th, 2019, San Diego students of AYLUS organized the 15th English for the Elderly activity. The goal of activity is to help elderly men and women from China learn the basics of English so that they’re able to use them in their daily lives.

Through this activity, AYLUS volunteers were able to teach 6 elderly men and women common English phrases and sentences. Not only were the “students” able to improve their understanding of and ability to speak the English language, but the volunteers also improved their patience and confidence through this event.

The following students participated in the 15th English for the Elderly activity: Chengda Li, Chengming Li, Liana Xie, Yufei Zhang, Ernest Lin, Jerry Wang, Michael Wang and Andrew Chen
