On Saturday November 11th, 2018, Pearland AYLUS teamed with city officials, Dawson HS NHS, and Dobie HS members to facilitate the 2018 Veteran Days Walk. Over 30 volunteers came and arrived early to set up along the route of the walk in the morning chill. Volunteers were positioned along the walk and provided help with directions and provided support to all the veterans participating. Each veteran expressed their thanks and their happiness at the willingness of volunteers to come support them. Although the walk lasted for only an hour, volunteers were able to walk away with a sense of contribution and much more.
