San Diego Branch Organized 38th Computer for Kids Lab on August 18th, 2018

On August 18th, 2018, students from the San Diego Branch of AYLUS organized and participated in the 38th Computer for Kids Lab, repairing and cleaning electronic devices in order to prepare them to send to children of low-income families. This helps the kids achieve academic success through possible access to technology.

The participants did the following:

  • 624 Mice Bagged and Prepared for Distribution

So far, the San Diego branch students have accomplished the following since the first Computer for Kids Lab started:

  • Diagnosed, repaired, tested, or sleeved 3,465 notebooks/netbooks/laptops/tablets/desktops
  • Tested and repaired 141 LCD monitors
  • Diagnosed, tested, wiped, counted, and cloned 3,192 hard drives
  • Wrapped/folded, sorted, and packed 7,704 mice, and power cords/adaptors
  • Tested and Bagged 125 Speakers

The following volunteers participated: Eric Li, Mike Wang, Yaming Yang, and Yawen Yang.

The AYLUS San Diego Committee organized the 38th Computer for Kids Lab.
