Emily Zhong Collected 625 Bottles from May 1 2018 to August 18 2018 and Donated $31.40 to the San Diego Brain Injury Foundation

Emily Zhong, a rising junior at Canyon Crest Academy High School in San Diego and a member of the Alliance of Youth Leaders in the United States San Diego Branch, collected 625 water bottles between May 1st, 2018 and August 18th, 2018 and donated $31.40 to the San Diego Brain Injury Foundation.

Emily collected the bottles at tennis courts, senior centers, and school playgrounds. She exchanged the bottles for cash at Ralph recycle center in Carmel Valley. Emily has the passion to help patients at the San Diego Brain Injury Foundation with money saved from helping the environment.

Emily is energetic and has the passion to create her own business in the future. She attended UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business Academy for Youth Entrepreneurship program last summer. She now serves as the President of CCA’s UCSD Launchpad Club to promote entrepreneurship among CCA students.

Emily loves sports and is a competitive athlete. She is a nationally ranked squash player.
