San Diego Branch Organized 23rd Computer for Kids Lab on April 20, 2018

On April 20, 2018, students from the San Diego Branch of AYLUS organized and participated in the  23nd Computer for Kids Lab to repair computers and give them to children of low-income families to help kids achieve academic success through technology.
The students tested, repaired, and cleaned 104 A1000 black tablets and 109 A3500 blue tablets. They sorted, cleaned, wrapped, and boxed 719 tablet power cords.
So far, the San Diego branch students have accomplished the following since the first Computer for Kids Lab started:
  • Diagnosed, repaired, and tested 3,595 notebooks/netbooks/laptops/tablets/desktops
  • Tested and repaired 1,316 LCD monitors
  • Diagnosed and tested 426 hard drives
  • Boxed 150 netbooks for distribution
  • Wrapped/folded, sorted, and packed 10,147 mice, and power cords/adaptors
All the laptops/netbooks/notebooks will be donated to children of needed families so they can have a computer to work at home.
The following students participated in the 22nd Computer for Kids Lab: Anthony Jiang, William Lai, Chengming Li, Chengda Li,  James Li, Raymond Li, William Sun, Joshua Trout, Leon Wang,  Mike Wang,  Lucy Yang, Summer Yang, Kyne Xie, Eric Xu, Jason Xu, Ricky Xu, Alan Zhu, and Brian Zhu.
 Stephen Yang, Christopher Yang, and Raymond Li organized the 23rd Computer for Kids Lab.
