AYLUS Pearland 3rd Annual Easter Egg Hunt

On April 1st, 2018, the AYLUS Pearland Branch worked alongside the Pearland Chinese Association, Pearland Youth Soccer Academy (PYSA), and Pearland Huaxia Chinese School to host an Easter egg hunt open to families of all ages at the Pearland Rogers middle school soccer fields. This was the third Easter egg hunt offered by AYLUS Pearland Branch.

This amazing fun featured 1500 plastic eggs and fillers provided by PYSA and AYLUS families.  At the beginning of this event, all eggs and fillers were separated into four groups. AYLUS volunteers spent one hour filling the eggs with toys and candies and then hid them across the four soccer fields. The Roger’s soccer fields were covered in eggs of all sizes and colors filled with goodies. At 5:30 PM, hundreds of excited children of all ages lined up along the starting line and could hardly wait for the call. At the time the “Go” signal blared across the fields, kids rushed in with their colorful baskets and all eggs were picked up in about four minutes. The fields were filled with smiling, happy faces.

The AYLUS members who volunteered at this event were: Tony Liu, Kevin Chen, Andy Gu, Andy Jiang, Janie Chen, Allen Jiang, Jason Jiang, Jerry Gu, Jayden Lu, Justin Lenderman, Daniel Ling, Edwin Ling, Luxin Peng, Ethan Chen, Ben Liang, Kathy Liang, Ray Huang, Vincent Yang, David Ding, Steve, Janna Cao, Kate Liu, Micah Yang, Kevin Tong, Katherine Zhong, Samuel Jing, Ella Chen, Catherine Bai, Bryan Li, Terry Guo, Jin Wang, Michael Meng, Hans Wang, Eric Qi, Edward Qi, and Annee Zhu.
