AYLUS Pearland Branch Participated in Charity Fundraising Event

On the morning of July 4th, four AYLUS members, Tony Liu, Alex Guo, and Aaron Wu, Geoffrey Liu, participated in the charity fundraiser market of Chinese American Relief Effort (C.A.R.E.) They were invited to sell various items at the charity event hosted alongside many various vendors. They sacrificed many hours in order to set up and prepare the event. When the event started, hundreds of people poured into the market and were greeted with an array of vendors all selling unique items. There were several stalls devoted to selling refreshing drinks for the unbearable heat, and some sold delicious Asian cuisine. AYLUS group sold t-shirts and clothing for anyone who wanted to commemorate the event. After a hectic four hours, the concert and market closed down and in the end, the Pearland branch generated over 200$ as a donation to C.A.R.E. in order to purchase school supplies for William Sutton Elementary School.
