On January 14, 2017, 7 volunteers from the Pearland branch of Aylus volunteered to help with the TMSCA meet that Pearland Junior High West was hosting.

Over the course of four hours, the high school volunteers worked as proctors for various test sessions, they were also the runners to deliver empty test sheets from the head office to the proctors and then back to the graders after the test. Some of them also participated the grading for number sense, general math, science, and calculator tests. A few of the junior volunteers sold snacks at the concession stand and helped cleaning the concession area after the meet.

Most of the volunteers had the experience of participating TMSCA meet/completion by taking the tests. It’s a good experience for them to work for the testers this time. During and throughout the tests, they were able to see how much work have been done by the meet organizers and volunteers in each test.

Volunteers were: Jerry Gu, Jason Jiang, Kevin Chen, Kathryn Guan, Kathy Liang, Donna Liu, Janie Chen, Ethan Chen, Derick Xie, Tony Liu, Richard Hong, Andy Gu, and Allen Jiang.
