AYLUS Metro Detroit Branch supported St. Baldrick’s Foundation with the Irish Festival on March 16, 2024

The AYLUS Metro Detroit branch helped out at the Irish Festival in Downtown Rochester, hosted by St. Baldrick’s Foundation. The Foundation is in support of kid’s cancer research, and hosts fundraising events which fund efforts to help those who have cancer. The organization has turned from a bet made between colleagues to the largest foundation which provides funds for kid’s cancer research.

The event on March 16, 2024 was one of these events, in support of those suffering from cancer. Speakers of the event encouraged cutting people’s hair as a way to support those who lost theirs due to chemotherapy. Currently $45,829 of $50,000 has been raised as a result of the fundraising efforts within this event. The foundation also has raffles as a way to gain money, putting prizes like a Playstation 5 and other popular items.

Brenden Niu participated in this event.
