AYLUS Columbus Volunteers Make Crafts for Dublin Jerome High School’s Lunar New Year Celebration
AYLUS volunteers made Chinese knot bracelets and bookmarks from January 14- 30th to donate as handouts for Dublin Jerome’s Lunar New Year Celebration on Friday February 10th. 243 bracelets and 62 bookmarks were donated to the event. The crafts were a big hit, and event goers not only claimed but eagerly learned how to make them as a unique and effective spread of Chinese culture.
Participants were Rachel Zhu, Brenna Li, Catherine Harman, Caroline Xi, Gavin Ni, Hanna Fan, Katie Lu, June Ni, Kevin Wang, Christina Jin, Olivia Wang, Evan Yu, Sophie Zhuang, Dustin He, Jeffrey Xie, Pollyanna Wang, and Emma Yu.
