AYLUS Rancho Santa Margarita Members Volunteered at LRMS 7th Grade Orientation in August 2021

AYLUS Rancho Santa Margarita members volunteered at LRMS 7th Grade Orientation on August 4, 2021. The members arrived as “help as needed” and were subsequently stationed at various locations across campus.

Some were tasked with providing directions at the exit of the MPR to direct traffic to either PE clothes or pictures. Some members were stationed outside the pictures area and handed out name cards for picture takers to give to the photographers. Other members were in the library handing and checking out books to the students for the school year. Another group of members was helping individual teachers with their needs. Additionally, some were giving out school tours to parents and students who needed guidance. At last, one other group was waiting at the entrance, handing out Instagram flyers for the school faculty.

This activity was profoundly significant to many members because they were LRMS alumni or are still a part of the LRMS student body. Moreover, it was a way for students to guide the next generation at the start of the next school year. Through this activity, members reconnected with their teachers and peers while simultaneously helping out the school where needed.
