Description of the Wallingford Branch

In the fall of 2020, four high school students decided to found the Wallingford Branch of AYLUS located in Pennsylvania. Our goal is to serve the community through different community service projects. Not only do we want to inspire students to build their leadership skills, as well as their teamwork skills, but we also want to show them how fun it can be to give back and even improve the community. We can use our personal talents and passions to create new ideas of volunteering, and it can be a joyful experience for everybody. For those with artistic minds, we can create art in our projects, such as crafting cards or making toys. We can also make food to donate to food banks. We can offer tutoring for other students in our favorite subjects and we can arrange some other educational events. We can also improve the environment through cleanup projects. When working together to serve the community, we can really bring the best out of each other.

Congratulations to Amber Chen, Hannah Rappaport, Naomi Thallman, and Chelsea Wenof the Wallingford Branch! Great job!
