On Friday October 30, ALYUS Great Neck branch members — Yucheng Fu, Zoe Li, and Isabelle Yang — played sports at the Firefighters Park for the 80th time from 4:30 to 5:30pm. It was a beautiful day with cool weather.
Yucheng and Zoe started by pushing Jack on the swing, and Isabelle talked to him about Halloween plans. Then, Jack suggested playing hide-and-seek and tag in the playground. The volunteers and Jack laughed together about school while running. Soon after, Austin arrived and played with a beach ball. Everyone exercised and had lots of fun! The day ended with Jack, Yucheng, Zoe, and Isabelle relaxing after an intense game of tag at the swings.
The AYLUS volunteers are excited to play with the kids again next week.
