On November 1st 2026, the weather was sunny and mild, perfect for an outdoor event. NYC Marathon volunteer event, 3 volunteers were at 14.2 mile from 9:30am until 2:30pm with Misty Mountain Running Club enthusiastically cheer on Misty Mountain runners and runners around the world. We helped hand out water/gatorade. The volunteers also made posters with motivational messages like “Keep On Going,” and “You Got This”. We shouted out Runners Keep On Going, You Got It to cheer the runners to keep on going. This is an event gathering people to work as team to motivate one another to help the runners achieve their running goal and get them going toward the finish line. The atmosphere was very lively and a way to show the Big Apple spirit.
The event was a good and meaningful experience, especially for those who run track in school. It motivated us to keep on going and not to give up.
