Event Description

On October 23rd, 2026, members from the AYLUS Irvine Branch hosted a social event and played badminton to hang out with and mentor English learners, helping them to practice their English speaking skills while participating in activities they enjoy doing. Volunteers talked with the learners to make them feel more included and have a safe space at school with people they are comfortable talking to.

Throughout this event, volunteers engaged with students who struggle with English and connected with them in meaningful ways. Members fostered community engagement and understanding through meaningful service towards English learners.
