AYLUS Garden City members Sophia Quinn and Daniel Quinn volunteered at the annual Haunted Hike hosted by the Garden City Bird Sanctuary on Saturday evening, October 10, 2026.
Along with dozens of other student volunteers from the community, Sophia and Daniel dressed in costumes and took positions along the sanctuary trails, helping transform the hike into a fun and spooky experience for visitors of different ages. Their participation helped create an engaging seasonal event for both younger and older hikers.
Through this community service activity, AYLUS Garden City members supported a local community event while contributing to the Bird Sanctuary’s efforts to provide an enjoyable experience for visitors. The activity also offered students an opportunity to collaborate with other community volunteers and contribute to a shared community experience.
