On Saturday, October 3, 2026, six AYLUS members participated in the AYLUS Used Battery Recycling Project. Each participant collected and contributed at least 30 used batteries for recycling, qualifying for the maximum 2 service hours under the project guidelines.
The project focused on promoting proper battery disposal, recycling, environmental awareness, and responsible waste management. By collecting used batteries and ensuring they were directed toward appropriate recycling, the participants contributed to reducing waste and encouraging sustainable practices in the community.
