Today at Fellowship Village, volunteers helped seniors with several technology questions. One senior needed assistance copying and pasting Gmail recipients, and the volunteer showed them how to select and transfer email addresses when composing messages. Another senior needed help setting up Zoom meetings and copying Zoom meeting invitation links, and the volunteer guided them through the process so they could share meeting information with others. Volunteers also helped seniors become familiar with the Fellowship Community App, including how to make dinner reservations through the FullCount Portal.
At today’s technology support session, volunteers helped seniors become more comfortable using digital tools for communication and everyday activities. Through patient, one-on-one guidance, residents gained practical skills for using email, Zoom, and the Fellowship Community App more independently. The session also gave volunteers and seniors an opportunity to connect and strengthen the supportive community at Fellowship Village.
