On Sep. 27, 2026, the members of AYLUS Murrieta volunteered at Atria Senior Living Center.
Since 2022, AYLUS Murrieta Branch has proudly partnered with Atria Senior Living to bring music, sweet treats and vibrant energy to seniors. Every Sunday afternoon, youth volunteers perform piano music at its library to brighten the resident’s weekend.
Our Weekly Sunday Service Teams
- The Library Performance Team: In the community library, musically talented AYLUS Murrieta members perform live piano sets featuring a mix of classical favorites, jazz, and familiar throwbacks. The live melodies drift through the halls, inviting residents to gather, relax by the fireplace
- The Ice Cream Parlor Team: Concurrently, another dedicated group of volunteers mans the center’s ice cream parlor. They serve up sweet scoops while spending quality time chatting, sharing stories, and forging deep intergenerational connections with the residents.
This regular weekly tradition allows student leaders to utilize their talents to combat senior isolation, fostering a warm, joyful atmosphere that both the residents and volunteers look forward to all week long.
