On Saturday, September 19, volunteers from the Frisco-Plano branch of AYLUS gathered at the Frisco Environmental Collection Center to donate used batteries for recycling. These batteries were collected from members of the local community through volunteers’ outreach. Recycling the materials from old batteries reduces the overall resource consumption of the community, which greatly benefits the environment.
