On Saturday, August 15th, youth volunteers from the AYLUS Houston branch spent four hours volunteering at Katy Christian Ministries (KCM). The team focused their efforts on organizing clothing inside the retail store.
By brightening up the store and keeping inventory neatly arranged, the volunteers helped create a more welcoming environment for shoppers while supporting KCM’s daily operations. Throughout the shift, members demonstrated great teamwork, clear communication, and a shared dedication to helping the local community.
AYLUS Houston extends a sincere thank-you to KCM for hosting the project, as well as to all the volunteers who gave their time. The group looks forward to returning soon for future service projects across KCM’s retail store, food pantry, and community garden.
