On Aug 12th 2026, the AYLUS Ridgewood Branch just went back to the senior community in Fair Lawn for a follow-up AI Workshop, and it was such an awesome experience! Building on what we started in our last session, our goal was to keep helping the seniors get more comfortable with technology. A bunch of us high school volunteers teamed up with the residents to show them how artificial intelligence can actually be super useful and fun for everyday life.
We focused on hands-on, one-on-one practice this time, answering questions they had from before and walking them through different apps and tools. It was really cool to see everyone get so into it, practicing on their screens and learning how to use these digital platforms for communication and creativity. The whole room was full of energy and great conversations, and it felt amazing to see their confidence grow as they figured things out. A huge thank you to the Fair Lawn senior community for having us back and being so enthusiastic about learning from us.
