AYLUS Roslyn hosts an Arts & Crafts Workshop to create handmade items that are donated to different hospitals, homeless shelters, and other community organizations (6th)

On August 2nd, 2026, the AYLUS Foundation held our sixth Arts & Crafts Workshop. Based on the skills learned from previous workshops, volunteers continued improving their crocheting skills and worked more confidently. This workshop focused on making crocheted drawstring bags, which will be used for future donations.

During the workshop, volunteers worked together and helped each other with different crochet techniques. Emma Wei and Jasmine Wang helped tutor other volunteers by teaching crochet skills and providing guidance when needed. Everyone shared ideas, fixed mistakes, and encouraged each other, creating a friendly and supportive environment.

Through teamwork and practice, volunteers made good progress and improved their crochet abilities. Everyone enjoyed learning together and building stronger connections through this activity. We even forgot to take a group photo with the AYLUS banner because everyone was so focused on their crochet projects.

Overall, the sixth workshop was a successful and productive session. We are happy to see everyone’s improvement and look forward to making more handmade donations together while serving our community.
