This is the 238th volunteer event of AYLUS Oakland Gardens, held on July 18, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The purpose of this project was to create promotional flyers and posters for our upcoming Family Fun Day and help spread awareness throughout the community.
To prepare for this event, our Parent Advisor assigned every member of the 2026–2027 Leadership Team the responsibility of designing one promotional flyer or poster. Each leader carefully planned their design, selected eye-catching layouts and colors, and made sure all of the event information was clear, accurate, and appealing to families.
We spent three hours brainstorming creative ideas, sharing feedback, and refining our designs. It was inspiring to see how responsible and dedicated every Leadership Team member was throughout the entire process. Everyone put great effort into producing high-quality promotional materials, welcomed suggestions from one another, and continuously improved their work. Their creativity, teamwork, and commitment reflected the strong leadership and volunteer spirit of AYLUS.
Designing these promotional materials was a meaningful experience that reminded us how much preparation takes place behind the scenes before a community event. We hope our flyers and posters will encourage more families to join us and help make this year’s Family Fun Day a wonderful and memorable event for everyone.
