On June 30th, 2026, the AYLUS Foundation helped crochet mini-octopuses to donate to hospitals, homeless shelters, and more. When we first arrived, we introduced ourselves and started to set up in a room that had materials provided to us. We followed an instructor on how to make crochets and each step to making a perfect one. This was a really great experience because it not only taught us arts and crafts but also helped brighten up people’s day in hospitals, homeless shelters, and other places. We really enjoyed our time and we hope to be able to do another event like this soon!

Volunteers that participated: Kayla Chu (3.5 hours), Kaitlyn Chu (3.5 hours), Emma Wei (3.5 hours), Jasmine Wang (3.5 hours)
