On Sunday, June 21, 2026, the Carol Woods Retirement Community in Chapel Hill welcomed volunteers from the Chapel Hill AYLUS branch for a live music performance. The group—made up of two violinists and six pianists—presented a variety of classical pieces for the residents.
The performance was met with warm appreciation, as residents responded with smiles and enthusiastic applause. Some even joined in by singing along, adding to the lively and heartwarming atmosphere. The event brought moments of joy and connection through the shared experience of music.
We are happy to share that this program will continue, with future performances planned for the third Sunday of each month.
