On June 21, 2026, the Chapel Hill Branch returned to the Little Free Library along the Bolin Creek Trail near the Gene Strowd Community Rose Garden to restock and organize books for the community. With a variety of gently used books ranging from children’s stories to adult fiction and nonfiction, the library continues to serve as a valuable resource for readers of all ages.
By maintaining this shared community space, the Chapel Hill Branch hopes to encourage a love of reading, promote the exchange of books, and make learning more accessible to everyone. The Little Free Library remains a simple yet meaningful way to connect neighbors and inspire curiosity.
Volunteers who participated in this event were Alissa Liu (1 hour) and Alwin Liu (1 hour).
