On June 23, Andrea and Oliver volunteered at Cary Learning Center as TAs.
Our main responsibility was to serve as general activity assistants, concentrating on literacy, creative arts, cooking support, and supervised play. For the activities, Oliver walked around and supervised campers while they played outside. During lunch, Andrea helped teachers with cooking and ensured everyone washed their hands before and after meals. They have created a safe, engaging, and educational atmosphere for the campers.
Volunteering at this summer camp is about being dependable, patient, and eager to support a child’s summer happiness.
