On June 14, 2026, members of Chapel hill Branch baked homemade cookies for Meals on Wheels, an organization committed to fighting hunger in our community. For many years, Meals on Wheels has provided essential meal deliveries to seniors and individuals who struggle to access food, ensuring they receive regular nourishment and support.
To contribute to this mission, our volunteers prepared fresh cookies in their own kitchens as a small gesture of care and appreciation for local seniors. Through this service activity, we hope to brighten their day and encourage more community members to take part in acts of kindness.
Volunteers who participated in this event were Alwin Liu (6 hours of baking cookies on 6/14/2026, 1.5 hours of packaging and delivery to MOW on 6/15/2026), Andrew Zhao (2.5 hours), Eli Tan (6 hours on 6/14/2026).
