Today, Thursday, May 7th, 2026, Great Neck AYLUS held another tutoring session at the Great Neck Library Station Branch; where volunteers worked together to help students with a variety of subjects. Ivy helped a second grade student practice spelling the days of the week, guiding them through pronunciation and spelling patterns. Jason worked with a student on math and U.S. History, helping them review important concepts and complete assignments. Junlin assisted a student with science measurements, explaining how to measure accurately and use different units in science problems. Summer and Brendan helped 5th grade students prepare for the science state test by reviewing important topics, practicing questions, and strengthening their understanding of key concepts. Through teamwork and patience, students were able to improve their skills and make progress on their assignments.
